Memorial Day--a time for remembering and healing

This day when we celebrate the lives and sacrafices of those brave men and women who gave the ultimate gift for freedom--can also be a two edged sword.

We have many Vets who are affected by this day in a negative way. The old wounds of bitterness and abandonment are re-opened. The pain of their service days lies just below the serface and affects their lives a a profoundly negative way. They have never healed.

Let us all pray for these Vets who have never put war behind them. Lets us pray for their family and friends who too--have suffered along with them.
Let us make this Memorial day not only one of memory--but of healing.

To you brave men and women who made it posible for me to romp and play with Yodi--in freedom--my blessings and prayers be with you.
